Tram's Kitchen
Very satisfying, fresh, light, and yet filling. Good on cold days, good on warm days. Good when you have a cold and good when you’re just hungry.
I had a big bowl of beef Hanoi Pho, two fresh spring rolls, and an iced green tea. The pho was perfectly seasoned, not too salty. I thought the pho tasted really good straight from the kitchen, so I didn't add any of the numerous extras. The spring rolls come paired with a savory peanut butter sauce dipping sauce. The green tea was wonderfully sweet and refreshing, it complimented the meal well.
It was pretty quiet in Tram’s. No music, and people aren’t talking. They’re really too busy eating. Everyone had a bowl of soup in front of them that was as big as their heads. The soup was a little messy to eat, but very worth the mess. With such a big bowl of soup it is impossible not to have a little mess, right? Trying to eat this without a table would be impossible, very impossible. David copperfield might be the only person who could eat this without a table. He’d get the bowl of soup to levitate.
Tram’s Kitchen is certainly no Eat’n Park. Better than Eat’n Park? Possibly cheaper too. At Eat’n Park you can’t get pho. The menu at Tram’s is very small in comparison to Eat’n Park. But Tram’s is a specialized restaurant - you know what they make is top notch.
