Mysteries of the Missing

Mysteries of the Missing

It’s a science documentary. They talk about alien abductions and explain the science behind the mystery. This show is educational.  They find a lot of things that disappear. But, I don’t know if all of it is really true or not. I don’t know whether some of it is made up. It’s like the old Mark Twain saying goes, “truth is stranger than fiction.”

They try to explain it away and then they cannot do it. There is so much stuff that they can’t answer. When they can’t find an answer, they make something up that sounds practical.

Stuff about UFOS should be kept a mystery because we don’t know what they’re really about. If it’s a peaceful civilization, then we have nothing to worry about. If they’re not peaceful, then there’s a problem.

It’s nice to leave some things a mystery. So then, people can keep on guessing. Some things are better left unexplained. Then, next generations can study it. Next generations will have a different idea about it. It’s their turn to be puzzled.

It’s not magic anymore when it is explained; the magic has gone out of it. The imagination has gone out of it.

This show might come into my art in an off sort of way. In some ways, this show is similar to my artwork, because my artwork is based in science fiction. My work imagines how things could be in the future of Earth. The Earth is not going to go away anytime soon. Usually, I imagine that the Earth will still be here. If we are still here in the future, as long as we don’t wipe ourselves out… There is all of this noise about nukes and stuff. There’s that and then there are viruses. Aliments. Pollution… I hope that science can find the solution.
